2011 Research Grants available from the Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation
Pilot Research Grant
Purpose: To promote Plastic Surgery advancement and innovation. These grants provide “seed” funding, and are intended to allow researchers to conduct preliminary studies related to Plastic Surgery science that set the stage for applications to external funding agencies. Amount: Up to $10,000 United States Dollars.
Research Fellowship Grant
Purpose: To encourage the research and academic career development for Plastic Surgery residents and junior faculty. The research fellowship is intended to supplement salary support during a mentored research experience. Amount: Up to $50,000 United States Dollars.
National Endowment for Plastic Surgery Research Grant
Purpose: To encourage and support research projects which address clinically relevant issues facing the practice of Plastic Surgery. Applications must address a topic of importance to the current clinical practice of Plastic Surgery. Amount: Up to $50,000 United States Dollars.
