Foreign Bodies of the Upper Aerodigestive Tract
Board certified members of the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, by virtue of their training, are qualified to manage foreign bodies of the upper aerodigestive tract in adults and children. Whenever appropriately trained support personnel and proper sized equipment are available, these cases should ideally be managed at the closest available facility.
